MacBook Air vs MacBook Pro
A few days ago I was checking out the pricing of the MacBook Air compared to the price of the MacBook Pro and I noticed that there was quite a big difference between the two. Here’s the thing, I have a daughter who is 16 years old who saw the TV commercial for the MacBook Air and obviously she thought that it was cool. I did too for that matter and I decided to look into it and learn more about the MacBook Air.
Interestingly enough after doing some research I was quick to discover that the huge difference in price is really because of its size. In fact, I was amazed to discover that the MacBook Air actually has much less powerful hardware specifications compared to the MacBook Pro, and it’s more expensive.
So all in all, if you’ve been considering purchasing a new MacBook, I would strongly consider the true reasons why you want one. If you want something very small, thin and cute, but don’t mind sacrificing quite a bit of processing power and don’t mind spend more money, then consider the MacBook Air.
If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, and want a very fast and upgradeable computer, I would bite the bullet and get the MacBook Pro. I mean honestly, it really isn’t all that big. The MacBook Pro in my opinion has the most balanced price with the best hardware and system specifications.

Alternatively the MacBook can be purchased. My wife owns a MacBook pro for the sole reason of graphics. If you are not doing anything that is graphically intensive the plain MacBook can be purchased for a reasonable price. For me, the MacBook Pro Vs. MacBook air is an easy choice. I’d choose the Air in an instant because it is tiny yet still has a full keyboard.

Heck, if you want my honest opinion, which who wouldn’t, LOL, I’d take any of the three if given to me. I was just about to purchase the Pro before we discovered we were having our forth and I decided to wait as I felt it wouldn’t be very sensible choice with the new baby coming. My next computer without a doubt will be an Apple. I can’t wait to get way from Windows. And as soon as you show me how to use Linux, I’ll wipe out M$ on my Dell’s and go to town with Ubuntu.
