Printable Coupons Can Save You Money

Now, it’s no secret that clipping coupons is one of the best ways to save money when doing your shopping. Nearly every magazine and newspaper in the world have coupons within their pages that will help save with groceries, toiletries, and just about anything else you can think of. Sometimes, a person can save a huge amount of money with coupons.

A couple things to remember with coupons is to always watch the date of expiration on them. If you come across a coupon and can’t find an expiration date, chances are that it can be redeemed at any time. Another thing to remember is to carefully read amounts and sizes. Even though you have a coupon that says you can save a dollar on a particular product, you may have to buy a certain number of products in order to save that dollar.

There are tons of sites online, that offer downloadable coupons. Many of these sites are free and have some really cool deals. However, some of these sites require a paid subscription in order to gain access to their goods. In my opinion, you shouldn’t have to spend money in order to save money, but this is only my opinion.

Coupons.com is a free site that offers several coupons in a wide variety of products. I found coupons for toilet paper, cereal, and even tax preparation. The cool thing for me on this site is that they also offer a huge list of recipes. So, you can print out their coupons, and use the product to create a wonderful meal.

CoolSavings.com is probably one of the most used coupon site online. With this site, you can sign up as a member and get access to tons of coupons for just about anything you can imagine. They also offer links to promotional savings programs with stores such as Kohl’s and Target. My only problem with this site is that it has become more of an over stuffed affiliate page, than a coupon site.

If you’re looking for coupons and discounts for your area, you might want to check out Valpak.com. This site caters more to certain locations, such as local dining or shopping. Of course, they also offer coupons to national chains and bigger named stores. They’ve got a really cool set up, making it easier to choose your topic. However, if you’re like me and live in a rural area, you won’t find a lot of localized stuff.

My favorite site to print coupons is SmartSource.com. This is another free site for printable coupons, that offers products ranging from groceries to national restaurant chains. The only thing you need to remember with this site is that you need to download their coupon printer, which is simply a bit of software that tells them which coupons are being downloaded and how often. I’ve used quite a few of the coupons from this site.

Finally, a great way to find coupons for certain products is to visit their official websites. For instance, if you’re looking for Betty Crocker coupons, simply go to their website and see what they’ve got. Not all companies do this, but many of them do. That way, you’ll know your getting the best deal from a name you trust.

If you’ve never been big on the whole coupon clipping thing, you really don’t know what you’re missing, or how much money you’re losing. It doesn’t matter if you’re a parent, a college student, or an older person on a fixed income. Clipping coupons can save you a ton of money over time. And with printable coupons, you can always tell the cashier, “Wait, I have a coupon for that”.
